1: When the food is entered into the mouth, we chew the food .
2: food reaches the oesophagus
3: through oesophagus the food reaches the stomach.
4: in the stomach several juices and enzymes are released which help in further breakdown of complex food substances.
5: then the food reaches the small intestine where assimilation takes place.
6: then the assimilated food reaches the large intestine where in the salts and water are absorbed.
7: then the waste is stored in rectum
8: then the waste is thrown out by anus in the form of utine and faeces at regular intervals.
