A plane mirror makes an image of objects in front of it; these images appear to be behind the plane in which the mirror lies. The image formed by a plane mirror is always virtual (meaning that the light rays do not actually come from the image), upright, and of the same shape and size as the object it is reflecting.

Answer:when a object is kept before a plane mirror the same object appears but erect. it has same size ,it maintains the same distance and color
Explanation:
this happens because of the characteristics of the mirror ,
they are:
same size
same color
equal distance
and erect
the image is formed only when light rays fall on the mirror
