gas changes to liquid on compressing and cooling it while liquid changes to solid for further compression and cooling

for example, water vapour changes to liquid water on cooling it

while on freezing it,water changes into ice which is a solid

Melting-Is the process of converting solid into liquid by adding heat

Boiling-Is the process of converting liquid into gas by heating in this way the liquid becomes vapors

condensation-Is the process of converting gas into liquid by  cooling in this way the gases become liquid
