EGGS-A house fly can lay upto 75-150 eggs at a time. The eggs are white in color with a size of 1.2mm. The suitable temperature for a house fly to lay eggs is around 25-30 degrees.
LARVAE- The eggs develops into larvae, which is a long cylindrical shape, white in color with tapered ends. Larvae complete their development in 4 to 13 days and change into maggots.
PUPA- The pupa stage covers in a pupal case about 8mm long. Pupa is different in shape, rounded at both ends. Pupa takes around 2 to 6 days to complete their development.
ADULT-When the pupa completely develops it burst from one end and fully adult fly releases from it. A completely grown fly is to 7 mm long. Female flies are bigger in size than the male flies.
