heya !!!

■Ameoba is unicellular , omnivore organism that not posses specialised organs for the process of nutrition .

■The mode of nutrition in Amoeba is HOLOZOIC and takes place with the help of pseudopodia (finger like projections).

■It engulfs food when it comes in contact with its cell surface by ingestion. Pseudopodia fuses over food particle to form food vacuole .

■Digestion in Ameoba is INTRACELLULAR ( takes place inside the cell ) . Inside the food vacuole , complex food breaks into small soluble molecules , readily absorbed by the cytoplasm . This process is called ABSORPTION .

■The absorbed food is further ASSIMILATED by Amoeba to derive energy for growth .

■The undigested food material is removed by the cells membrane , which ruptures suddenly at any place and eliminates out the undigested food . This process if throwing out undigested food is called EGESTION.

hope it helps u dear ^_^

HEY MATE!!!

■ Amoeba takes in food using temporary finger like extension of the cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food vacuole.

■ Inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into the cytoplasm.

■ The remaining undigested material is moved to the surface of the cell and thrown out.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!!
