Explanation:

Cocoons of silk moth are used to obtain the silk fibres. These cocoons are kept under the sun or boiled or exposed to steam. The silk fibres is then separated. This process of obtaining wool from the cocoons is called reeling the silk.

The cocoons gathered and boiled or heated in ovens,to kill the insect inside them. The filaments are obtained from cocoons by proces known reeling or filature.it is done on special machines that unwind the threads of silk from the cocoons.The silk fibers are then spun into silk thread.the thread is called raw silk.it is weaved and dyed in diffrent colurs.
