Hill Reaction is a photochemical phase which starts with the absorption of light by the chlorophyll molecules. This solar energy which is trapped by chlorophyll is stored as chemical energy (ATP) and reducing power (NADPH). In light reactions, photolysis of water, i.e., splitting up of water in presence of light takes place.
