The process of photosynthesis is the process where the plants prepare their food with the help of sunlight, water and carbon dioxide.

In this process of photosynthesis the green plants absorb the light energy by chlorophyll.
Then they convert this light energy into chemical energy with the help of carbon dioxide and water . At last plants form Glucose .

The most significant importance of this process is that without it the transformation of light energy to chemical energy is impossible. Thus , Photosynthesis is also a must process for life on Earth .
