Explain the process of regeneration in Planaria.How is this process different from reproduction?

regeneration is type of asexual reproduction,in which a cut body parts having specilised cell grown and form a new organism. in planaria when body cuts into pieces somehow then every pieces having specilised cell grows and form a new organism.

regeneration is different from reproduction in the case that in reproduction production of new individual takes place by either giving birth or eggs whereas in regeneration the organism obtained by cut body parts
