Explanation:

  • when you breathe , you are taking in

oxygen with each inhale and

releasing carbon dioxide which

exhale .

Respiration is the biochemical

process in which the cells of an

organism obtain energy by

combining oxygen and glucose ,

resulting in the release of carbon

dioxide and water and ATP.

The primary organs of respiratory

system are the lungs, which

function to take in oxygen and exhel

carbon dioxide as we breathe. The

gas exchanged process performed

by the lungs and respiratory

system.

An exchange of carbon dioxide

takes place in Alveoli of lungs ,

small structures in the lungs.

Inhalation means bringing air rich

in the oxygen into the body .

Exhalation means giving out air

rich in the carbon dioxide from the

body.The second step is has

exchange in the lungs

whereoxygen is diffused into the

blood and the co2 diffuses out of

the blood . The third process is

cellular respiration, which

produces chemical energy that the

cells in the body need , and co2.

  • The co2 from cellular respiration

breathed out by the lungs .
