✴️ The end wall, also called sieve plants, have pores called sieve pores.
✴️ Cytoplasmic strands pass through the sieve pores, which help in the transport of substance.

Transportation of food in plant takes place through phlome. Sieve tubes with the help of adjacent companion cells in the phlome move the soluble food in the form in the form of sucrose, aminoacids etc. In the both upward and downward directions. Thank
