Explanation:

ANSWER:-

This question has to be answered in steps. So, let's begin.

  • First of all we need to know that the urine formation and other related things are done by excretory system of our body.
  • This system consists of kidney, renal vein, renal artery, ureter, urethra and urinary bladder. (It also contains Aorta but not necessary in this answer)

Urine formation:- It all starts in the Kidney.

  • Going deeper we will see that it starts in nephrons.
  • Renal Corpuscle or Malphigian Capsule- It consists of 2 things- Bowman's Capsule and Glomerulus.
  • Bowman's Capsule- Located in Proximal Part of the nephron. It's outer cavity is filled with glomerulus.
  • Glomerulus' adjacent artery brings waste materials from blood (like urea) to it. It joins with renal vein to give out clean blood into it.

Nephric Tubule:-

  • PCT or Proximal Convoluted Tubule - It is a coiled structure and region of nephric tubule.
  • Loop of Henle- U shaped loop in middle of nephric tubule.
  • DCT or Distal Convoluted Tubule opens into the collecting duct.
  • Collecting tube- Tubules fro. many nephrons enter into this tubule. It gives out the urine from nephrons to the ureter.

Ultrafiltration - Main stage of urine formation:-

  • The walls of Bowman Capsule are thin, delicate and semi- Permeable. Liquid blood which contains homogenous nitrogenous waste is filtered in Bowman Capsule. This is done under high pressure.
  • The rest of the blood which is left is carried by effetent arteriole. This is also called nephric filtration and generally thick.

Selective Reabsorption:-

  • This does not occur in Hemodialysis.
  • The huge loss of blood and useful substances is not afforded to be lost by our body. So, these useful substances are reabsorved by the body. Water is absorbed by Osmosis, salts and minerals from Nephric Filtrate.

Tubular Secretion:-

  • The Renal tubule removed wastes and passes into the filtrate by secretion. Thus removes Ammonia, Urea, Uric Acid etc.

Hence, we're done!

The process of Urine formation :

  • The blood keeps flowing continuously in the kidney.

  • The impure blood is brought by the renal artery.

  • Both kidney filters about 1000-1200 ml of blood every minute.

  • The filtration of blood takes place inside the glomerulus.

  • Glucose, salts, amino acids urea, etc are filtered from the blood and collected in bowman’s capsule.

  • Filtrate blood is passed through the renal tubule and the cells of the renal tubule re-absorbs the useful substances from the renal except waste product urea.

  • The renal vein carries pure blood from the kidney.

  • The urine from the nephron is transported to the collecting duct.

  • From each kidney, one ureter is connected to the urinary bladder
