Explain the propagation of elctro magnetic wave through ionosphere.

Used for the propagation of EM waves with a frequency range of 3 – 30 MHz. Make use of the ionosphere so called due to the presence of charged ions in the region of about 60 to 300 km from the earth surface. These ions provide a reflecting medium to the radio or communication waves within a particular frequency range.
