The event that took place in Mexico Olympics (1968) was the salute to the Black Power. The black power salute was a federal protest which was accompanied by African-Americanplayers Tommie Smith and John Carlos during their reward receiving function at the 1968 summertime olympicgymnasium in Mexico City
