Proverbs are popularly defined as "short expressions of popular wisdom". Efforts to improve on the popular definition have not led to a more precise definition. The wisdom is in the form of a general observation about the world or a bit of advice, sometimes more nearly an attitude toward a situation. See also English proverbs (alphabetically by proverb)

hii...

so I am going to explain you proverbs clearly in my own words, don't mind if I can't find suitable words.

proverbs are the little ' metaphors ' which advice you throughout your life, basically that's what a ' doha ' and so on Is...

there are very common ones, like:-

  1. Actions speak louder than words. ...
  2. Actions speak louder than words. ...A drowning man will clutch at a straw. ...
  3. Actions speak louder than words. ...A drowning man will clutch at a straw. ...Adversity and loss make a man wise.

as you know, there are many cultures, there are also many many proverbs ...and all are according to it... which are made in that language or that culture style, maybe....

Well, that's all I got_!
