-Right to equality in India helps each & every individual to gain equality before the law.
-It sensitize that no person is above the law & there is no different between a political leader,government official & ordinary citizen hence they are all equal.
-The exception is the provision of reservations for scheduled castes.Scheduled tribes & other backward Castes since equality means giving everyone an equal opportunity which leads to provision of special treatment to ensure equal opportunity.
