Forth floatation method: Sulphide ore is filtered by forth floatation technique. In this strategy concentration of sulphide ores of copper, lead and zinc are utilized. In this strategy, powdered ore is placed in a tank loaded with water. Subsequent to including powdered ore, some Pine oil is added to it. In the tank the particles of sulphide ore are moist by pine oil though the gangue particles are wetted by water. At that point air is gone through this blend. This results in the agitation of water in tank, which cause the sulphide ore particles to stay with the oil and ascend to the surface as foam. The gangue particles being heavier stay behind at the base of water tank. The foam is isolated and concentrated sulphide ore is obtained.
