While describing the energy levels available to atoms and molecules , the values that we get is termed as quantum numbers.

There are mainly four types of Quantum numbers :

  • Principal quantum number (n)

  • Orbital angular momentum quantum number (l),

  • Magnetic quantum number (ml),

  • Electron spin quantum number (ms)
