In this question it is given that we have a circular pipe through which water flows out and the diameter of the circular pipe is given 7cm. Now, question says that water flows out 72cm in 1 sec..that is the length covered by the water in 1s which !means that 72 cm is the length of the cylinder pipe..don't consider this length as the volume of water of inner surface area of the ..u can also recognise this length by seeing the units written after the number. Now further we have to find how much of water is flowed in hour in litres that is we have to find the volume of water which flows out in 1 hour in litres. .....next moving on the solution....
As v r provided with the diameter of the cylinder v can easily finds its radius which is 7/2 cm.now v now the radius of the pipe n height of the pipe that is the length of the pipe ....n v will find the volume of the pipe by using these measurements ..we will only find the volume of the pipe coz as much the pipe contains its volume the same amount of water will flow thorough it. Now volume of pipe can be easily be find out by the formula πr^2h..n remember this volume of pipe will be equal to the volume of water flows in one second... coz the measurements v have used r given of 1s of time .
Now we have the volume of water which flows in 1s and as we have to find the volume of water in 1hour we will multiply the volume by 3600 as I hour has 3600 seconds....and as the question ask us to find the volume it liters dived ur volume by 1000 u will get ur answer...
I hope it helped ....
