Markovnikov's Rule
Markovnikov's Rule states that whenever we add any protic acid i.e. HX to any asymmetric alkene, then every time hydrogen i.e. H gets attached with the carbon and as a result there are more and more of hydrogen.
Also, the halyde group i.e X group further gets attached to carbon and as a result there are many more alkyl form is resulted.
To put this in simpler words, the total number of hydrogen atoms gets combined or added with carbon and hydrogen atoms act in this and again when the X form is added, there are negligible amount of hydrogen atoms.
