Bro it is all about timing , to hit a perfect square cut you have to first make room to hit the ball and then hit it with perfect timing.
Keep in mind that you must hit the ball in gap..

The cut is meant for a ball outside off stump especially if it is going wide. Since the batsman can free his arms, the power his maximum
How to do it? Simple:
1.The Back Foot Moves Towards the stumps and across towards the line of the ball
2. The front shoulder should turn to the off side as the bat is taken backwards
3. Contact with the ball must be made with arms fully extended
4. The bat must finish over the front shoulder and behind the head
