Explanation:

To calculate work done we have to find force by string (i.e, tension) and displacement in 1 second.

first we have to find acceleration of 0.36 kg block

a = 7.2 - 3.6 / 1.08 = 3.333 m/s^2

using the equation s = ut + 1/2 at^2

we get the value of displacement = 1.66 m

now we have to find tension

T - 3.6 = 0.36(3.333)

T = 4.7

Now,

Work done = force x displacement = 4.7(1.66) = 8 joule
