There were three Anglo Marthas wars fought between 18th century and the beginning of 19th century . It was a war between the British and the Marathas . The first war of Angola Marathas was happened in 1775 - 1782 . where Nana phadnavis the statemen of the Maratha empire in the administration in pune ; India went against his agreements with the Calcutta council and granted a port on west coast of French so The Brithish Army force went against the pune and from there there was a huge battle and ended in 1782 which took 5 years to end the battle but at last the British won the battle so it was ruled by them but Marathas did not agree and kept on battling for justice so the war again happened in 1802 which is called second Anglo Marthas war but in second Anglo war the British won for battling 1802 - 1805 and then at last Martha people didnot give up and again battled which is now called as third Anglo Martha war which started in 1817 and then almost Indian won the battle so The east India company was now being able to do with India ... so this the war gappened between brithish and Marthas ..
