Explain the reason for the tension between dutch and french speaking people.

in Belgium... the Dutch were in majority and the French were in minority so the Dutch enjoyed it's position iat central level but in case of Brussels the capital it was opposite there the French were in majority and the Dutch were in minority so they took some measures and made a model which gave both equal rights at both levels
