America withdrew from the Vietnam war due to following problems:
● The soldiers were not familiar with the surroundibgs and also were not well prepared and trained to fight in such kind of surroundings.
● The army could not shut down the Ho Chi Minh trail which was an underground trail made to confuse the enemy. That trail had several enteries and exits and was spread underground all over the vietnam.
● The American army was not accustomed to Guerilla warfare. The lack of knowledge about the warfare was a major problem for the soldiers which led their moral down.
● The geographical and weather conditions of Vietnam are very different from America as it is a very hot and humid country. Soldiers were not trained in such situation and couldn't bear with such weather conditions.
● The clothing was also a major problem for the soldiers as the clothing got torn in such hot and humid weather within 2-3 days. They faced difficulty in carrying weapons up the mountains which were very heavy.
