explain the reasons behind the Indigo rebellion

the indigo rebellion is due to
a. the land in which indigo was cultivated cannot be again used for the cultivation of food crops like rice which was a big problem
b. the taxes were high but the rights towards the land is insecure
c. it needs a lot of ploughs and bullocks
d. the ryots were forced to cultivate indigo as on behalf of them the village headmen was forced to sign the contract
