Answer:

answer of (a)

When the carpet is beaten with a stick, the stick exerts a force on the carpet which sets it in motion. The inertia of the dust particles residing on the carpet resists the change in the motion of the carpet. ... This is why the dust comes out of the carpet when beaten.

answer of (b)

While the bus is moving, luggage tends to remain in inertia of motion state. When the bus stops, the luggage tends to resist the change and due to inertia of motion it moves forward and may fall off. That's why it is advised to tie any luggage kept on the roof of a bus with a rope.

and answer of (c)

A bowler runs a long distance before bowling because it wants to give speed to the ball and hence, momentum. After running the distance, when the bowler leaves the ball on reaching the line, he imparts the momentum gained by running to the ball.

I) cause of dust comming out from carpet

The inertia

ii) cause of luggage moved front of place it was kept

The inertia

iii) cause pace bowler in cricket runs from a long distance before he bowels
