Inequality means to discriminate someone and not giving the equal opportunities for all.

And poverty means poorness. Poverty is when there is inequality and discrimination among people the person who gets discriminated doesn't get equal opportunities in employment and education and hence remain backward and need to do dirty work with less pay and hence they face poverty.
