Is there any relationship between education, modernization and social change? How education brings social change in society? What role education plays in the generation of the process of modernization? These are a few questions to be answered while analysing the relationships between education, social change and modernization.

Education is but one determinant factor in the procession dimension of social change. It is a bare fact that formal education is one of the main and important agents of socialization. School teaches not only reading, writing and other skills but how to think and behave in given ways also. They imbibe new values, attitudes, expectations and aspirations in them. Teachers as agents of change impart specific values, aspirations and attitudes to the children.

Thus, a society is advanced in all respects and education is the originator and producer of everything that drives modernization.
