By Newton's second law of motion we get,
Force= mass× acceleration
F=ma
so one can write,
a= F/m,
so force is directly proportional to acceleration, if acceleration increases then force increases if acceleration decrease then force decrease. If acceleration becomes negative then force become negative.
hence force directly proportional to acceleration
