A large number of diseases are caused due to poor sanitation and contaminated drinking water. Poor sanitation leads to the growth of harmful microbes, flies and mosquitoes which are the source of spreading many diseases like cholera, typhoid, polio, meningitis, hepatitis, and dysentery.
