consumer rights. Generally accepted basicconsumer rights are (1) Right to safety: protection from hazardous goods. ... (3) Right to choose: availability of competing goods and services that offer alternatives in terms of price, quality, service

Heya user

It means that the consumers have rhe right to be assured that a selection of quality products and services are available for them at a competitive price to purchase. It means that the consumer should have the opportunity to buy or purchase a good quality product which he/she is willing to purchase.

EXAMPLE-: A consumer can choose from a super market items like cereals, pulses and other raw materials such as wheat. This kind of choice give the consumers a sense of well being and security/safety and encourages them to believe that abundance leads to a good living.

Hope this will help you
