Individual Indian citizen have right to

equality. means right to choose there religion , cast , etc.

Some examples of exceptions for article 14 are reservations for SC/ST, others in employment and education, seats in busses and trains reserved for Sr Citizens, physically handicapped, women etc.. There could be many such cases of differential treatment for a group of persons or activities etc.
