  • Enrolled himself in the German army during the first world war.
  • Joined the German Worker's Party in 1919.
  • Renamed it the National Socialist German Worker's Party. This party came to be known as the Nazi Party.
  • The Nazi Party became popular in Germany.
  • In 1932,Nazi party became the largest party with 37 percent votes.
  • On 30th January 1933,president Hindenburg offered the Chancellorship [the highest position in the cabinet ministers] to Hitler.
