Explain the role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in fighting against discrimination in India.​

Dr. Ambedkar was the first person in his caste to complete his education. He therefore encouraged Dalits to send their children to schools and colleges. He urged Dalits to take on different kinds of jobs in the government in the order to move out of the caste system. He also led many efforts of Dalits to gain entry into temple.
