Explain the role of electric fuse in an electrical appliance?.​

fuse is a safety device in electrical circuits...

it has a low melting point...

when excess current passes through circuit, the fuse melts due to overheating..

due to melting, it breaks the circuit.

hence no more current passes through circuit..

therefore it helps to avoid damage to other appliances attached to that circuit...
