Plants in forests release oxygen during photosynthesis during day time and they consume carbon di oxide.

Animals in forests consume oxygen and release Carbondioxide by respiration.

This is a simple ecological balance maintained by Forest.

As forest are destroyed, Plants that release Oxygen are destroyed and animals that release Carbondioxide get endangered. So this is how ecological imbalance arises.
