  • A fuse is a type of device which is used as an insulator i.e in other words it prevents the overall connection from being short. It protects against overloading
  • In series combination the role with any other electrical appliances of fuse is that....the same amount of current will flow throughout the circuit.
  • If a fuse with defined rating for an electrical circuit be replaced by one with a larger heating then it can affect the overall connection i.e of hight electricity will flow through the fuse then it will not break or melt which leads to short-circuit!
