Explain the role of fuse in series with any electrical appliance in an electric circuit.Why should a fuse with defined rating for an electric curcit not be replaced by one with a larger heating?

fuse helps to protect electronic appliances in houses from overloading ,intense heating up , taking up heat
2. It is so bcz if a larger value of fuse is placed in spite of smaller one then all the devices will get exploited or takes fire but a smaller fuse will be readily or broken earlier if large amount of current is passed through it

A fuse is connected in series to preventany short circuit or to discontinue the flow of charges in the circuit due to overloading. If excess current passes through circuit, it breaks the circuit and protects the appliance from getting damaged. To prevent short circuit demage .
