Internet censorship is an important new feature of the modern-age network. It ensures that the internet remains a safe place for everyone to use without the fear of being manipulated or hacked. In the face of new and evolving threats, it is essential that there be a system of checks to keep up this security. This is where government internet censorship comes in.

The government is responsible for maintaining the safety of all the citizens of the country. Most countries have a dedicated government department tasked with removing hate messages, matters undermining national security, underage content and abusive statements found on the net.
