himalayan ranges acts as a barrier to the cold winds comming from central asia thus keeping the climate in india moderate

they also block the moisture laden winds coming from south to go to central asia thus causing rainfall in the north

Himalaya has a great role in maintaining the temperature of india. it causes India to have a hot weather season. The cold Asian winds are prevented by Himalayas from entering India. These winds are cold and can decrease the temperature of India. Thus, Himalaya also play a crucial role in maintaining India's hot temperature.
