The Jacobin's club was the most famous political club of the FrenchRevolution. The members of this clubmainly belonged to the less prosperous sections of the society. It became an important place whereby people discussed their political ideologies and took action for their self-interest.

The members of the jacobin club belonged mainly to the less properous sections of the socity  they include artisans such as shoemakers' pastery coks ,watchmakers etc. as well as workers . there leader was maximilian robespierre . they start wearing long striped trousers . sansculottes men wore in addition  the red cap that symbolises liberty constitution of 1791 gave political rights only to richer sections of society in summer 1792 jacobin planned an insurrection. on the morning aug.10 they stromed the palace of the tuileries massacred the kings guards and held the king himself as hostage for several hours . later the assembly voted to imprison the royal family. elections were held . from now on all men of 21 years and above got right to vote .the newly elected assembly called the convection. on 21 sept. 1792 it abolished the monarchy and declared France a republic.
