Due to those "differentiation" they could not all we are part of socialist movement. The social democratic party was later divided over the strategy of the organisation. The party split into the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks.
Vladimir Lenin led the bolshevik group he was in the view that in Tsarist Russia the party should be disciplined and control its equality and number of members. On the other hand, Menshivik group viewed that party should be open to all as in Germany.

So Lenin led the majority group of Russian Social Democratic Workers party on the ideology of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, which later played a very crucial role in Russian Revolution.

Answer:

Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia, and later the Soviet Union, became a one-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party. Ideologically a Marxist, his developments to the ideology are called Leninism.

Lenin was the leader of the radical socialist Bolshevik Party (later renamed the Communist Party), which seized power in the October phase of the Russian Revolution of 1917. After the revolution, Lenin headed the new Soviet government that formed in Russia. He became the leader of the USSR upon its founding in 1922.
