The role of Mahatma Gandhi was major:
- Khilafat movement -This movement was mainly led to unite Hindu and Muslim masses during the period of 1919 against the Britishers
- Non Cooperation Movement-This movement was initiated under the Gandhi in which people organized to boycott all the social service provided British Government like boycotting their jobs, and owners
- Civil Disobedience this movement was known to be the greatest movement ever because this was against the high demand of taxes on daily based commodities like salt.So Gandhi revolted with 78 members from Savarmati to Dandi which were most oppressive movement for British
So all these movement together feeded the National movement
