minerals are the most important components in soil. It provides assistance to plant life. Plants require minerals for a healthy growth and life. These minerals are absorbed from the soil via the roots of plants. Nitrogen is a mineral. It is required to produce amino acids which is necessary for the production of proteins. Magnesium is essential for the production of chlorophyll which helps in the process of photosynthesis.
