The Parliament is a common platform to discuss the problems of every state of the country. It performs the following five important functions:


1. It has got the representation of all states and UTs, so the problems of each state is discussed and solved in the national prospective.

2. It discusses the national issues and seek the help of states and in case of state issues, it provides help to states to solve their problems.

3. It frames legislations and amends laws and constitution according to the present needs and circumstances.

4. It passes the budgets for the maximum welfare of the masses.

5. In cases of national emergencies and natural calamities it discusses various important issues for the well being of the nation. It is the supreme pillar of democracy which is the most powerful in the country. The welfare of the masses of the nation can be assured through the Parliament of the

country.
