The Indian national movement well developed after the entry of Mahatma Ghandhi.

  • Ghandhi returned to Indian from South Africa on Jan 9, 1915, the day celebrated as pravasi Bharatiya diwas.
  • He lead champran Satyagraha in 1917 against indigo planters and their tinkathia system.
  • Ahmadabad mill strike in 1918, to increase salary of workers about 35%.
  • Keda Satyagraha in 1918, to support farmers against higher tax rate.

In above three movements Ghandhi got victory which created hope on Ghandhi among people.
