From this we can see that a lot of water is needed in urban areas.

For instance industries need a lot of water which is used to manufacture goods, clean machines, cool machines, general cleanliness etc.

For commercial purposes, water is used in car wash and also in hospitals.

Rural consumption pattern of water

In rural areas water is used for domestic purposes.

Water is also used in farms for watering crops.

Most of the water used is directly obtained from the streams.
