Sense of collective belongingness:

1.United struggle:

All the citizens of India fought together with the British and got freedom through struggle with unity.

2.Cultural processes:

Due to many cultural processes I.e. festivals etc. united the Indian citizens.

3.Bharat Mata:

The image of Bharat mata gave a huge inspiration to the Indian citizens for the struggle with the British.

4.Reinterpretation of history:

The history was also been reinterpreted which has benefitted India later.

5.Revival of Indian folklore:

The old culture,tradition and folklore were reviving which also developed sense of collective belongingness among Indian citizens.
