✋✋✋✋sharing of electrons takes place in two ways✋✋✋✋
1) mutual sharing
2) sharing by loosing and gaining electrons.
_________
1) mutual sharing results in the formation of covalent bonds to form covalent compounds as a result.
2) sharing by loosing and gaining results in the formation of ionic bonds to form ionic compounds.
in this the ionic compounds are bind with strong electrostatic forces of attraction.
